Cat. #003124131: JANE ROSE

Highly rare vintage inscribed turquoise fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch off-white card, acquired in-person by indefatigable autograph hound John Virzi in 1961 and decorated with a Players Directory image. In good condition. Great character actress Jane Rose played an unforgettable array of sourpussed old bats and dopey spinsters, popping up on classic episodes of "Dark Shadows" (1966), "All in the Family" (1975) and other programs. She was perhaps most memorable as Cloris Leachman's befuddled mother-in-law on "Phyllis" (1975-1977) and as the replacement Grandmama Addams, following the death of Blossom Rock, in Halloween with the New Addams Family (1977).
