Cat. #00151454: CHARLTON HESTON

Scarce authentic-- yes, all that through-the-mail stuff was secretarially signed-- and unusually early 10x8-inch black and white film still as Steve Leech in The Big Country (1958), boldly signed and inscribed in brown fountain pen in the period of the film. In good condition, with minor edgewear. Rugged leading man and gun rights activist Charlton Heston won an Oscar for Orson Welles' Touch of Evil (1958). Other highlights of his career include The Ten Commandments (1956), The Big Country (1958), Ben-Hur (1959), El Cid (1961), and sci-fi's Planet of the Apes (1968).
