Cat. #001151112: TONY CURTIS

Nifty vintage 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait as Eddie Quaid/Packy Glennon in the film noir Square Jungle (1955), boldly signed and inscribed in black felt-tip pen for noted collector Paula Klaw in the 1980s. In good condition, with the first letter of the inscription slightly gouging the surface of the photo. Leading man Tony Curtis was Oscar-nominated for The Defiant Ones (1958) in 1959, and was elsewhere memorable in Son of Ali Baba (1952), Houdini (1953), Sweet Smell of Success (1957), Some Like It Hot (1959), The Rat Race (1960), Spartacus (1960), The Great Imposter (1961), The Outsider (1961), The Great Race (1965), Chamber of Horrors (1966), Rosemary's Baby (1968), The Boston Strangler (1968), You Can't Win 'Em All (1970), Lepke (1975), Sextette (1978), and The Mirror Crack'd (1980).
